Toluca, Estado de México, 13 de febrero de 2018.- El Gobernador Alfredo Del Mazo Maza anunció la firma de un convenio con Cruz Roja, para fortalecer los servicios de salud que se brindan a los mexiquenses, a través de las unidades acreditadas de esta institución en la entidad.
Esta acción, dijo, permitirá reforzar los lazos de colaboración entre el Gobierno del Estado de México y Cruz Roja, pero también cumplir con uno de los compromisos de la administración estatal, que es brindar mejores servicios de salud a la población.
“Esta administración tiene plena confianza en la capacidad profesional, médica y técnica de Cruz Roja, en quienes vemos a una aliada en el cuidado de la salud de los mexiquenses. Quiero expresar la voluntad de este gobierno de llevar a cabo un convenio que nos permita aprovechar sus fortalezas y capacidades en beneficio de los mexiquenses.
“El día de hoy anunciamos que, de manera conjunta, la Cruz Roja y el Gobierno del Estado fortaleceremos los servicios de salud a través de las unidades acreditadas de esta gran institución en el Estado de México, porque uno de nuestros mayores compromisos es con la salud de los mexiquenses”, manifestó.
Acompañado por el Presidente Nacional de Cruz Roja Mexicana, Fernando Suinaga Cárdenas, el Gobernador mexiquense aseveró que esta institución se ha consolidado como una de las organizaciones altruistas con mayor presencia en el país, como resultado de la capacidad de responder con eficacia ante cualquier emergencia o reto.
En este sentido, destacó el trabajo que realizaron voluntarios, rescatistas, médicos y enfermeras de Cruz Roja Estado de México, para apoyar a los mexiquenses que se vieron afectados por el sismo del 19 de septiembre, donde se vieron dañadas más de 10 mil viviendas y 4 mil 900 escuelas.
“Quiero aprovechar este momento para agradecer a la Cruz Roja Mexicana, el gran apoyo que se le brindó al Estado de México con motivo de los sismos del 19 de septiembre.
“Gracias a la Cruz Roja por esa labor de atención inmediata, gracias a la Cruz Roja por estar presente, gracias por ser también un gran centro de acopio y apoyo para la distribución de todos los víveres, medicamentos, ropa e insumos que se pudieron distribuir a la población mexiquense”, afirmó.
En la toma de protesta del Delegado de Cruz Roja Mexicana Delegación Estado de México, Jorge Forastieri Muñoz, el mandatario estatal le deseó éxito en esta encomienda y le expresó el respaldo y compromiso de la administración estatal para trabajar de la mano en beneficio de los mexiquenses.
“Quiero darle la bienvenida el día de hoy a Jorge Forastieri y Ana Paula, su esposa, en esta gran tarea que reciben, estoy seguro que el Estado de México se verá muy beneficiado con esta nueva etapa que inicia la Delegación”, expresó.
Asimismo, felicitó por su labor al frente de esta institución durante seis años, a José Miguel Bejos, Delegado saliente, a quien le reconoció su compromiso con Cruz Roja y las causas sociales del Estado de México.
Por su parte, Fernando Suinaga destacó que Cruz Roja tiene una fuerte presencia en el Estado de México en atención a emergencias, al contar con 30 delegaciones locales, e informó que en 2017 se atendieron más de 51 mil 900 servicios y emergencias, así como 297 mil 485 atenciones médicas.
Agregó que para brindar mejores resultados a los mexiquenses, se trabaja de manera coordinada con el gobierno estatal, a través del C5, dando mejores tiempos de respuesta a situaciones de emergencias.
Jorge Forastieri dio a conocer que el 85 por ciento de las emergencias en el Estado de México, son atendidas por la Delegación de Cruz Roja, por lo que, mediante un programa renovado de capacitación en servicios de atención pre hospitalaria, médica y de enfermería, la aspiración es superar esta cifra.
En este evento, el Delegado saliente, José Miguel Bejos y su esposa Andrea Estévez de Miguel, recibieron por parte del Gobernador del Estado de México, un reconocimiento por la labor realizada al frente de esta institución, además de la imposición de medallas, por el Presidente Fernando Suinaga.

I do not know whether it’s just me or if perhaps everyone else experiencing problems with your site. It looks like some of the text in your posts are running off the screen.
