Continúan los esfuerzos del gobierno de Tlalnepantla para erradicar la violencia de género

  • El instituto municipal para la igualdad y desarrollo de las mujeres lleva a las comunidades jornadas integrales para la atención de la mujer.
  • Participan también el Instituto de Salud y el Sistema DIF local.

Para concientizar a la ciudadanía sobre la importancia de erradicar la violencia de género y promover una cultura de paz en todo el territorio municipal, el gobierno de Tlalnepantla continúa llevando a cabo las jornadas de atención integral a la mujer, en la que se ofrecen diversos servicios.

Mensualmente, el Instituto Municipal para la Igualdad y Desarrollo de las Mujeres (IMIDM) realiza en promedio 12 jornadas en diversas comunidades de la localidad, con el objetivo de prevenir que más mujeres sean víctimas de algún tipo de violencia.

A través de diversos stands se brinda a los asistentes información sobre dicho tema, y se prevé que ellos a su vez repliquen esos conocimientos entre sus familiares y vecinos, para detectar situaciones de violencia en sus comunidades.

Durante las jornadas, psicólogos especializados en esta materia, ofrecen una plática en la que enseñan la definición de violencia y cómo detectarla; qué es la alerta de violencia de género; el ciclo de la violencia y se les proporcionan los números de emergencia.

Una vez concluida la ponencia, los asistentes tienen la oportunidad de participar en el “Taller de fomento al autoempleo”, el cual se lleva a cabo de manera gratuita, con la finalidad de empoderar a las mujeres para que generen sus propios recursos económicos y así puedan acceder a una mejor calidad de vida.

Dentro de las actividades que se realizan en este taller, se enseñan manualidades con fomi para la elaboración de dulceros, bolsas, canastas, portarretratos y llaveros, así como la fabricación de productos para la limpieza del hogar,  los cuales posteriormente pueden ser comercializados para obtener ingresos adicionales.

Las personas interesadas en participar en este taller deben contactar al IMIDM, reunir un grupo de mínimo 25 personas y contar con un espacio adecuado para la elaboración de los alimentos.

Cabe mencionar que estas jornadas se realizan en coordinación con el Instituto Municipal de Salud y con el Sistema Municipal DIF, por lo que también se acercan servicios como revisión optométrica, toma de presión y signos vitales, revisión dental, entre otros.

Por su parte, Edgar Mauricio Zepeda Montes, vecino de Santa Mónica, reconoció que este tipo de jornadas sirven para concientizar a las personas sobre la violencia de género y la forma en la que ésta perjudica el desarrollo de la sociedad.

En tanto que Mónica Bribiesca Barrera, habitante de Valle Ceylán,  manifestó que este tipo de actividades contribuyen a mejorar el entorno en sus colonias “porque no debe de existir violencia de ningún tipo, a ninguna edad, ni siquiera hacia los animales, esto nos denigra a todos como seres vivos”.
