Entrega Alfredo del Mazo estufas ecológicas para apoyar la economía de las familias y cuidar su salud

Acolman, Estado de México.- Mejorar la calidad de vida de las familias mexiquenses es uno de los principales compromisos que tiene la administración estatal, afirmó el Gobernador Alfredo Del Mazo Maza durante la entrega de estufas ecológicas, programa que, dijo, tiene como finalidad apoyar la economía y salud familiar, así como cuidar el medio ambiente.

“Ese es uno de los principales compromisos que tenemos, el apoyo a las mujeres, a las familias, a las amas de casa, a la gente que más necesita este tipo de apoyos para que sus familias puedan tener una mejor calidad de vida”, expresó.

Acompañado por el Secretario de Medio Ambiente, Jorge Rescala Pérez, Del Mazo Maza explicó que las estufas ecológicas contribuyen a que las familias que todavía cocinan en fogón, tengan mejores condiciones de salud, ya que dejarán de respirar el humo que se desprende y se expande en las casas.

 

 

En este sentido señaló que el humo que se respira a través de los fogones equivale a fumar 400 cigarros diarios.

Indicó que estas estufas también contribuyen a la economía familiar ya que ahorrarán un 75 por ciento de la leña que utilizan para cocinar, además de que dejarán de invertir tiempo para ir a recolectar la madera.

Asimismo, agregó que se cuida el medio ambiente, ya que los fogones dejarán de emitir humo que provoca contaminación y se utilizarán menos árboles para la adquisición de la leña, ya que una familia que cocina diariamente con este método, necesita al año alrededor de 190 árboles para encender el fuego y preparar la comida.

“Hoy estamos haciendo entrega de estas estufas ecológicas que van a ayudarle a las mujeres, a las amas de casa, a las familias mexiquenses que hoy en día cocinan con fogones, y que de entrada en sus casas, para ustedes, para sus hijos, es mucho riesgo”, subrayó.

“A partir de este momento tienen este apoyo que les va a generar ahorros en sus hogares, ahorro en la economía familiar, que les va a proteger su salud, que les va a cuidar a ustedes y a sus hijos de quemaduras y accidentes dentro del hogar”, manifestó.

El Gobernador mexiquense destacó también que con las estufas ecológicas que se entregaron, se dignifica la actividad de las amas de casa, quienes tenían que hincarse para cocinar y ahora podrán realizar la comida para sus familias en una postura más cómoda.

Además, añadió, con este tipo de estufas podrán preparar hasta tres y cuatro platillos al mismo tiempo.

Por su parte, el Secretario de Medio Ambiente informó que durante el primer semestre de 2018 se entregaron 4 mil 900 estufas ecológicas que representan una inversión de casi 15 millones de pesos.

 

 

Puntualizó que con este programa también se abordan consecuencias del cambio climático y se trabaja en la erradicación de la pobreza, para tener familias fuertes.

En este evento el mandatario estatal entregó 800 estufas ecológicas a familias de 14 municipios del oriente de la entidad: Acolman, Atenco, Axapusco, Chiautla, Chinconcuac, Hueypoxtla, Nopaltepec, Otumba, Papalotla, San Martín de las Pirámides, Temascalapa, Teotihuacán, Tepetlaoxtoc y Tezoyuca.

Las estufas ecológicas ayudan a proteger los bosques, en México se estima que una familia emplea 192 árboles al año para las estufas de leña, y en la entidad, con las entregadas durante este año, se estima salvar más de 950 mil árboles anualmente.

Asimismo, las familias ya no tendrán que comprar, cortar leña o buscar otros combustibles, para calentar los fogones, en Acolman, por ejemplo, llegan a utilizar nopales secos; además de cada 10 pesos llegan a invertir tres tan sólo en la adquisición de leña.

Además, se estima que mujeres y niños invierten hasta seis horas diarias en la búsqueda de leña y combustible, tiempo que ahora podrán dedicar para realizar otras actividades; también tienen mayor seguridad en sus hogares, ya que por su diseño y la forma en la que distribuyen el calor, protegen contra las quemaduras.

Aunado a ello, es que estas estufas mantienen el valor nutricional de los alimentos a diferencia de las de leña o carbón, que muchas ocasiones no permiten que las comidas estén bien cocidas.
