• Se tiene el respaldo digital de más de 9 mil documentos.
• Una vez que concluya el proceso se podrán consultar los archivos.

Huixquilucan, Estado De México.-La dirección del archivo municipal, realiza trabajos para digitalizar todos los documentos históricos existentes, ya que una de las instrucciones del presidente Enrique Vargas del Villar, es conservar estos registros que forman parte de la memoria histórica del municipio.

Horacio Almanza, titular de la dependencia, recordó que el archivo histórico de Huixquilucan conserva documentos de suma importancia, que por su antigüedad deben tener condiciones especiales de tratamiento y almacenamiento.

Detalló que al inicio de la administración comenzó el proceso de clasificación y catalogación de documentos, proyecto que fue supervisado por el archivo del poder ejecutivo, para posteriormente iniciar la digitalización, a efecto de conservarlos en óptimo estado.

Señaló que una vez concluido este proceso, los documentos estarán disponibles en una base de datos, en donde investigadores estatales, nacionales e incluso internacionales, podrán tener acceso a los mismos.

Almanza informó, que hasta el momento se tiene 9 mil 800 documentos digitalizados de un total de 12 mil. Asimismo, invitó a los huixquiluquenses a contribuir al enriquecimiento del archivo con documentos de carácter familiar, los cuales únicamente serían digitalizados.

En este sentido, precisó que las familias que participen para incrementar el archivo histórico, se les otorga un reconocimiento, ya que cada que se abre un fondo documental tiene que llevar un nombre, el cual corresponde a la familia, así ellos pueden estar orgullosos de contribuir al resguardo del patrimonio e historia de Huixquilucan.
