Huixquilucan trabaja permanentemente para prevenir inundaciones

  • El Sistema Aguas de Huixquilucan ha retirado más de siete mil metros.

El organismo público descentralizado Sistema Aguas de Huixquilucan, trabaja de manera permanente en el desazolve de drenajes, alcantarillado y cauces de la localidad, para prevenir encharcamientos e inundaciones en esta temporada de lluvias.

Como parte de los trabajos preventivos, el Director del SAH, Víctor Manuel Báez Melo, recordó que desde abril iniciaron las labores de desazolve, por lo que a la fecha no se han registrado inundaciones a causa de las lluvias en Huixquilucan.

“Tal como lo ha instruido el presidente Enrique Vargas del Villar, se ha trabajado de manera preventiva en esta temporada de lluvias, por lo que hasta el día de hoy se han desazolvado más de 60 mil metros lineales de tuberías en todo el municipio y se han retirado más de siete mil metros cúbicos de azolve de los ríos”, señaló.

Asimismo, informó que se ha realizado la limpieza de más de mil 200 rejillas, así como el drenaje profundo y semi profundo que atraviesa por Huixquilucan.

Para tener una respuesta inmediata durante los periodos de lluvia, se cuenta con cuadrillas especiales ubicadas en puntos estratégicos del municipio para enfrentar de manera eficiente la acumulación de agua.

“Estas cuadrillas conformadas por 14 vehículos y más de 45 personas, realizan guardias permanentes en puntos como la calle Hacienda de Las Golondrinas, el río de la coyotera, la glorieta del hospital Ángeles, el crucero de Krispy Kreme y Fuente de Hermes, sitios donde se tiene monitoreo constante para atender de inmediato en caso de fuertes precipitaciones”, acotó el director del organismo.

Báez Melo, exhortó a la población a no tirar basura en calles, barrancas y ríos, ya que con las lluvias los desechos obstruyen el libre flujo de agua hacia las alcantarillas siendo este el principal problema por el que se registran encharcamientos.

“Necesitamos la participación de los ciudadanos, ya que de nada sirve que limpiemos, si ellos tiran nuevamente basura. Un ejemplo es que tan solo en este año se han retirado de los ríos más de 300 llantas, refrigeradores, salas y colchones, entre otros desechos”, finalizó.
