  • Quedó formalmente instalado el Comité de Seguimiento e Implementación del Plan de Implementación del Modelo de Policía de Proximidad.
  • El objetivo es abandonar la lista de los municipios más violentos del país.

Al instalar el Comité de Seguimiento e Implementación del Plan de Implementación del Modelo de Policía de Proximidad, la Presidenta Municipal, Denisse Ugalde Alegría, destacó que a través de las Redes Vecinales de Seguridad se ha puesto en evidencia el compromiso de Tlalnepantla con fortalecer la proximidad social para que juntos, sociedad y gobierno, superen los retos que se tienen en materia de seguridad.

Puntualizó que el objetivo es recuperar la confianza de la ciudadanía en sus autoridades locales, de ahí que se han redoblado esfuerzos para que las familias de Tlalnepantla conozcan de cerca a sus policías, tengan una comunicación cercana y eficaz con sus autoridades y trabajen en conjunto para hacer un frente común contra la delincuencia.

Resaltó que este Comité fortalecerá la labor que ya se realiza en las colonias para restablecer las condiciones de paz social y orden público, al tiempo que impulsará las acciones que se vienen realizando para profesionalizar los cuerpos de seguridad pública.

El Comité de Seguimiento e Implementación del Plan de Implementación del Modelo de Policía de Proximidad tendrá las siguientes funciones: revisar, analizar y conocer el Modelo de Policía de Proximidad; definir el cronograma de implementación del modelo; y coordinar la realización del diagnóstico del municipio. Coordinará también las mesas de trabajo para la elaboración del plan de actividades; monitoreará y dará seguimiento a la implementación del modelo y servirá como punto de contacto técnico para expertos.

El Comité quedó integrado por el Comisario Alejandro Villar del Mazo, como Coordinador; Víctor Manuel Rodríguez Juárez, jefe operativo de la policía región 1, como representante de la institución policial; y Priscila Irene Palaú Pérez, encargada de la Unidad de Captura y Análisis de la Información, también representante de la institución policial. Como representantes ciudadanos: María Dolores Galán, María Yadira de los Ángeles Cuevas y Claudia Elvira  Díaz Blavier; en representación de la institución educativa, Verónica Elizabeth Jiménez Escalante; en representación de organizaciones de la sociedad civil, Juan Dámaso Menéndez Yáñez; y como Secretario Técnico, Joel Juárez Márquez.
