Cumple objetivo Daniel Vargas con Selección Nacional de Voleibol

Zinacantepec, Estado de México.- Daniel Vargas Osorio, volibolista del Estado de México se dijo satisfecho, luego de muchos años de trabajo personal y del equipo mexicano, se dio un paso muy importante al conquistar la medalla de bronce en los pasados Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe “Barranquilla 2018”, donde vencieron en el encuentro por el tercer lugar a la escuadra de Cuba.

“El mérito de tantos años de trabajo es esa medalla junto con la clasificación a Juegos Olímpicos (en Río 2016) ha sido muy especial, ha sido una experiencia muy satisfactoria, el poder pertenecer a una generación tan competitiva”, señaló el jugador originario de Los Reyes.

Vargas Osorio, que es uno de los jugadores con más experiencia dentro de la selección nacional, explicó que el conjunto nacional se ha ido fortaleciendo y puntualizó la importancia del ingreso de nuevos jugadores.

“Se ha ido renovando el equipo, hay jugadores más jóvenes, que está aportando bastante, creo que es importante que se integre gente nueva, el nivel va creciendo”, afirmó el volibolista de 31 años de edad.

Daniel expuso que tiene los objetivos bien definidos tanto en lo personal como dentro del equipo mexicano; “afortunadamente tengo cuatro años jugando en Europa, regreso a jugar a Turquía, deseo que me vaya muy bien, aspiro a los primeros lugares de la liga turca, también tengo aspiraciones en los próximos años, con la selección nacional, se vienen los Juegos Panamericanos”.

Finalmente el jugador señaló que para calificar a los Juegos Panamericanos Lima 2018, la selección deberá acudir antes a la Copa Panamericana.
