• Cumple José Luis Loza Mendoza su sueño de pertenecer a las fuerzas armadas.

• Participa en actividades cotidianas que realiza un soldado al servicio de la patria.

Rayón, Estado de México.- “Ser llamado soldado representa un compromiso con la sociedad y el pueblo, este día José Luis Loza Mendoza, se ha distinguido por su dedicación esfuerzo y compromiso. Se ha hecho acreedor a portar el uniforme de soldado de nuestro querido Ejército Mexicano”, bajo estas palabras José Luis, de 14 años y quien presenta el Síndrome de Cowffin- Lowry, recibió el nombramiento de Soldado por un día.

 

 

Acompañado por Perla Nieto Santamaría, Subdirectora de Centros de Asistencia Social del DIF mexiquense, José Luis arribó a las instalaciones de la 22ª Zona Militar y fue recibido por el General de Brigada Diplomado del Estado Mayor, Enrique Dena Salgado, quien le entregó el uniforme militar que portaría para presentarse ante los integrantes de las fuerzas armadas.

Al arribar al patio central, el joven, quien actualmente vive en los Centros de Asistencia Social del DIFEM, disfrutó de un desfile realizado en su honor y recibió un reconocimiento en papel que lo acredita como integrante de las fuerzas armadas de México en la 22ª Zona Militar.

Con pasos ligeros y cansados que lo obligaban a usar una silla de ruedas, pero sin perder la sonrisa en su rostro, José Luis recorrió las instalaciones de esta zona militar, participó en las tareas de protección y visitó las instalaciones en unidades móviles que forman parte del transporte especial para tareas militares.

 

 

Choche, como le dicen de cariño, llegó al DIF Estado de México a los dos meses de edad, desde entonces su amor y alegría son parte esencial de estos centros, él nunca imaginó que sus carros militares, aviones y soldados que tiene por juguetes y su sueño de ser soldado, se convertirían en una realidad.

María del Consuelo Sánchez Flores, Coordinadora de Rehabilitación de los Centros de Asistencia Social del DIFEM, refirió que el Síndrome Cowffin-Lowry  ha generado en José Luis una escoliosis que limita la capacidad de sus pulmones, por lo demás, él realiza sus actividades de manera independiente.

Para ayudar a mejorar su calidad de vida, Choche recibe diariamente terapia física y ocupacional, su actividad favorita es escuchar música y bailar, este ciclo  escolar ingresa a quinto año de primaria y forma parte de los 31 niñas, niños y adolescentes  con discapacidad del Centro de Asistencia Social  Temporal de Rehabilitación Infantil.
