Toluca, Estado de México.-El Gobernador Alfredo Del Mazo Maza entregó 42 ambulancias de traslado, urgencias básicas y urgencias avanzadas al Instituto de Seguridad Social del Estado de México y Municipios (ISSEMyM), las cuales cuentan con equipamiento moderno para brindar servicios médicos óptimos a los derechohabientes.
Detalló que 25 son ambulancias de traslado, 10 de urgencias básicas y siete de urgencias avanzadas, que darán servicio a todos los afiliados del ISSEMyM.
“Hoy nos reunimos aquí para prácticamente renovar la mitad de la flota de ambulancias que tiene el Instituto de Seguridad Social del Estado de México y Municipios, para brindarle un mejor servicio a los trabajadores que tienen el derecho a recibir este sistema por parte del ISSEMyM, y en donde estoy seguro que además serán utilizadas con profesionalismo, con gran entrega y con gran dedicación”, afirmó.
Del Mazo Maza reconoció el trabajo que realizan quienes forman parte del ISSEMyM, instituto estatal de seguridad social más importante del país, al tener bajo su cuidado la salud de 375 mil servidores públicos y sus familias, así como de 63 mil pensionados, en sus 112 unidades médicas.
En este sentido, manifestó que el ISSEMyM tiene como finalidad adoptar un nuevo modelo de atención basado en la prevención y la detección oportuna de enfermedades, como cáncer de mama y diabetes, para salvar más vidas y hacer más eficiente el gasto en salud con el mejoramiento de servicios y cobertura.
“El ISSEMyM ha realizado desde su creación, hace prácticamente 50 años, una labor ejemplar, gracias al trabajo y al esfuerzo continuo de sus trabajadores; el ISSEMyM es hoy la institución estatal de seguridad social más importante del país y en sus manos está la salud de 376 mil servidores públicos y sus familias, así como la protección del patrimonio de sus 63 mil pensionados”, apuntó.
Puntualizó que a través de la reciente reforma a la ley del ISSEMyM se busca dar sostenibilidad financiera al instituto a largo plazo, mejorar los servicios a los derechohabientes y brindar seguridad a los jubilados y pensionados de que su patrimonio está garantizado para cuando lo requieran.
