La baja en la incidencia delictiva en Tlalnepantla, resultado del trabajo de proximidad en la policía municipal

  • La alcaldesa reconoció el esfuerzo de los elementos de la policía para abonar a la construcción de paz en el territorio municipal.
  • La inseguridad no se resolverá sólo con más policías o más patrullas, sino con un trabajo permanente de prevención.

Al convivir con los elementos de la policía municipal, la alcaldesa Denisse Ugalde Alegría les reconoció los logros alcanzados en materia de seguridad que se han visto reflejados en una disminución en la incidencia delictiva y son el resultado del trabajo de proximidad que han desempeñado los uniformados.

“Los tiempos actuales demandan el fortalecimiento de las policías municipales, porque ustedes son quienes todos los días dan la cara y mantienen comunicación con los ciudadanos, de ahí que sea fundamental que los gobiernos invirtamos más en su capacitación”, apuntó la presidenta municipal.

Informó que apostándole a los cuerpos policíacos municipales, durante los tres años de gobierno, la administración 2016-2018 invirtió más de mil 262 millones de pesos en seguridad que se destinaron, principalmente, a su dignificación, profesionalización y equipamiento.

Denisse Ugalde reconoció que si bien se destinó un recurso importante para hacer frente a la violencia y a la delincuencia, el tema de la seguridad no se resolverá sólo con más policías o más patrullas, sino con un trabajo de prevención y de construcción de paz, a través de la proximidad, el fortalecimiento de la convivencia vecinal y la cultura cívica.

Recalcó que derivado del buen manejo de los recursos, se dejará solidez presupuestal para que la próxima administración continúe invirtiendo en este rubro y con ello procurar mayor seguridad a las familias tlalnepantlenses.

En el festejo a los policías, la alcaldesa exhortó a los uniformados a seguir trabajando fuerte y atender al ciudadano como si se tratara de un integrante de su propia familia, fortaleciendo con ello la proximidad social.

Por su parte, el comisario de Seguridad Pública, Alejandro Villar del Mazo, externó su orgullo de pertenecer a una de las mejores policías del Estado de México, una corporación que se ha preparado y ha dado resultados, dijo.

“Vamos avanzando gracias a su trabajo de proximidad. De acuerdo al Sistema Nacional de Seguridad Pública –mencionó- llevamos ocho meses de incidencia a la baja y hemos tenido alcances significativos en esta materia”.

Detalló que en reconocimiento a los policías que participaron en actos heroicos, el gobierno municipal destinó 4.5 millones de pesos para gratificaciones.

También, indicó, este año Tlalnepantla se consolidó en materia del Sistema de Justicia Penal Acusatorio, capacitando a 807 elementos en talleres de la función del primer respondiente, ciencia forense aplicada al lugar de los hechos, la función policía y eficacia en primeros auxilios, además de lograr la nivelación académica con 204 uniformados que terminaron la preparatoria.

Aunado a ello, 227 policías cumplieron con el curso de Formación Inicial; se logró la homologación salarial con un aumento del 2.8 por ciento, como lo establece el Secretariado; se abrió la convocatoria para la promoción de ascensos; se consiguió tener el reglamento del Servicio Profesional de Carrera; se adquirieron 10 patrullas nuevas y chalecos balísticos, concluyó el comisario.
