Capacita ISSEMYM a su personal en temas para erradicar violencia de género

• Realiza ISSEMyM, en coordinación con la Fiscalía para la Atención de Delitos Vinculados a la Violencia de Género, jornada de capacitación al personal médico para erradicar la violencia de género.

• Podrán detectar situaciones de violencia de género entre los derechohabientes.

Para prevenir y erradicar las conductas antisociales que vulneren la integridad de las niñas, niños, adolescentes y mujeres, el Instituto de Seguridad Social del Estado de México y Municipios (ISSEMyM) ofreció una jornada de capacitación, en coordinación con la Fiscalía para la Atención de Delitos Vinculados a la Violencia de Género, dependiente de la Fiscalía General de Justicia del Estado de México (FGJEM).

La doctora Kenya A. Hinojosa Mondragón, asesora en Medicina Legal de la FGJEM, resaltó la necesidad de identificar las conductas que pueden derivar en acciones antisociales contra grupos vulnerables como niñas, niños y adolescentes, las cuales pueden suscitarse incluso en el área de trabajo.

Explicó que a través de esta capacitación realizada en el Hospital Materno Infantil del ISSEMyM, dirigida al personal médico, los participantes fortalecerán su capacidad para detectar conductas indicativas de situaciones de violencia de género entre la población derechohabiente.

“Se trata de implementar estrategias que permitan detectar estos casos en el trato diario con los pacientes para poder ser tratados oportunamente”, apuntó.

A esta capacitación asistieron 400 personas de las diferentes unidades médicas del instituto, lo cual reafirma el compromiso de colaborar en el combate a la violencia de género, lograr la equidad y apoyar a las víctimas.

Cabe señalar que como apoyo a estos casos, el ISSEMyM, a través de la Clínica de Estrés Postraumático Toluca ha brindado más de 80 atenciones de esta índole en lo que va del año.
