El presidente municipal de Huixquilucan, Enrique Vargas del Villar, firmó un convenio de colaboración académica con el Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey campus estado de México (ITESM), a efecto de llevar a cabo proyectos en los que la institución aporte sus conocimientos en materia educativa, cultural y de investigación.

Acompañado por el director del programa de arquitectura, José Cruz, y la directora de la escuela de arquitectura, arte y diseño del ITESM, Marisol Ugalde, el Alcalde resaltó que este tipo de acuerdos son enriquecedores para el Gobierno Municipal por la experiencia y conocimiento en materia de investigación que tiene esta institución educativa.

Recordó que en los primeros tres años de gobierno, en Huixquilucan, se han invertido más de mil 200 millones de pesos en obra pública y destacó la construcción del complejo Rosa Mística del DIF; al tiempo que agradeció a las autoridades del Tecnológico de Monterrey tener la disposición de colaborar con proyectos que se puedan desarrollar en la localidad.

Una de las primeras acciones que se llevará a cabo con este convenio, es el proyecto de la academia de policía, por lo que Vargas del Villar, ofreció el apoyo necesario a los arquitectos del ITESM para que realicen el mejor diseño.

La directora de la escuela de arquitectura, arte y diseño del Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores, campus estado de México, Marisol Ugalde, destacó que este convenio de colaboración académica, es de gran valor para los alumnos ya que los estudiantes desarrollaran los conocimientos adquiridos, en proyectos que pueden ser aplicados en el municipio.
