Ante el Comisionado Estatal de Seguridad, Eduardo Valiente Hernández, el Alcalde Víctor Estrada Garibay, instaló formalmente la Comisión Técnica para la Implementación del Mando Único estatal con la cual se buscará eficientar la función de seguridad pública.

Mediante la Comisión Técnica para la implementación del Mando único, el Ayuntamiento de Cuautitlán Izcalli y la Comisión Estatal de Seguridad Ciudadana (CES), definirán planes de acción, estrategias y plan de acción para combatir la inseguridad en el municipio, esto como parte de la iniciativa a sumarse al esquema de mando único.

Durante la Reunión de Evaluación con Mensual con directores de seguridad pública y alcaldes de la región de Cuautitlán, el Presidente Municipal, Víctor Estrada Garibay, en su calidad de anfitrión, señaló que la inseguridad es uno de los temas que más afecta a la gente por ello la necesidad de trabajar conjuntamente con los tres niveles de gobierno.

El objetivo de la operatividad de la comisión técnica es salvaguardar la integridad y derechos de los ciudadanos, preservar las libertades, el orden, la paz pública y prevención del delito.

Durante la firma del convenio a la que acudieron alcaldes y comisarios de 17 municipios, se estableció que el Ayuntamiento de Cuautitlán Izcalli y la Comisión Estatal de Seguridad Ciudadana (CES), trabajarán sobre cinco líneas de Acción, empezando por definir los objetivos específicos y las metas a alcanzar, la determinación de las normas de participación entre las partes involucradas, la organización del trabajo conjunto entre las diferentes áreas de ambas instituciones que intervengan en la comisión.

Evaluar periódicamente los resultados alcanzados por el trabajo coordinado y emitir las recomendaciones pertinentes para la mejor consecución de los fines establecidos, Resolver de común acuerdo las dudas y controversias que se susciten por motivo de la interpretación y cumplimiento del acuerdo. El Mando Único implica la efectiva coordinación entre policía estatal y municipal con el fin de aminorar el índice delictivo, aplicando tecnologías de información y comunicación.
