ACTIVA GOBIERNO DE ECATEPEC PLAN PARA PREVENIR INCENDIOS FORESTALES

En los últimos dos meses, bomberos de la localidad han atendido cuatro conflagraciones en Las Venitas y 60 en pastos y baldíos

Durante esta temporada de calor, el Gobierno de Ecatepec, a través de la Dirección de Protección Civil y Bomberos, activó un protocolo de atención para prevenir incendios forestales, con el cual aplica técnicas especializadas para garantizar una atención oportuna, evitar la propagación de las llamas y la planeación de una ruta de evacuación en situaciones de riesgo, tomando en cuenta el comportamiento del fuego en estos casos.

Indalecio Ríos Velázquez, presidente Municipal, informó que la administración local emitió una serie de recomendaciones para prevenir este tipo de contingencias en áreas naturales, entre ellas pidió a los habitantes de la parte alta de la Sierra de Guadalupe que habitan en colonias como La Presa, Almárcigo Sur, Buenos Aires, El Gallito entre otras, mantener libres de basura los predios y baldíos con follaje seco, abstenerse de tirar colillas de cigarro, cerillos  o vidrios con el fin de evitar desastres naturales que puedan ocasionar afectaciones a la ciudadanía.  

Señaló que de febrero a la fecha, bomberos de la localidad han controlado y sofocado cuatro incendios de esta naturaleza en la zona de Las Venitas, además de 60 conatos en terrenos y pastizales del municipio, sin mayores complicaciones y con saldo blanco.

“La Sierra de Guadalupe es un pulmón dentro de la urbe que en esta temporada de sequía es susceptible a los incendios, por lo tanto invitamos a los vecinos a no hacer fogatas, ni quemas controladas porque pueden provocar un siniestro, si tienen actividades al aire libre les pedimos que recojan la basura y en caso de iniciarse un avisen a las autoridades” dijo el edil. 

Con apoyo del Sistema Telemático de Monitoreo Ambiental, que se compone de nueve cámaras, dos instaladas dentro del municipio, los monitoristas pueden detectar de manera oportuna la quema de pasto y objetos como plásticos o basura en la sierra.

Ríos Velázquez invitó a los ecatepequenses a tomar las medidas para cuidar su salud, pues en tiempo de altas temperaturas existe mayor vulnerabilidad para contraer enfermedades gastrointestinales, por lo que deben evitar la exposición al sol, cuidar la piel con protector solar y consumir suficientes líquidos para prevenir deshidratación.

Para reportar alguna contingencia ambiental, la ciudadanía puede marcar a ECOTEL con el número 57-70-22-59 de 09:00 a 19:00 horas o a la Dirección de Protección Civil y Bomberos al 51-16-44-15 y 51-16-44-16 las 24 horas.
