Toluca.- La Comisión para la Prevención de Riesgos Sanitarios del Estado de México (Coprisem) aseguró 12 mil 264 latas de chiles, con un contenido de 3.65 kilogramos cada una, producto de la verificación extraordinaria que realiza a la empresa La Costeña, luego de las imágenes difundidas en redes sociales donde presuntamente tres trabajadores orinaron sobre la línea de producción.

El comisionado, Miguel Ángel Ordóñez, informó que del total del lote asegurado, los verificadores tomaron aleatoriamente tres muestras de chiles y tres más de agua para consumo humano en la empresa, que corresponden a la toma utilizada para lavado de verduras en bandas, toma en bebederos y a los sanitarios, mismas que ya fueron enviadas al laboratorio estatal a fin de garantizar la inocuidad.

“Asegurar para nosotros consiste en no permitir que ese producto salga a su venta comercial, retenerlo hasta que se hagan diferentes análisis de laboratorio para verificar que no está contaminado”, dijo.

Señaló que la visita de verificación duró más de ocho horas, en las que pudieron constatar, con base a las bitácoras de entrada y salida de los empleados, que las imágenes difundidas fueron tomadas el pasado 2 de julio, por tres trabajadores, quienes ya fueron despedidos por la empresa de conservas.

Asimismo, la Coprisem sujetó a procedimiento administrativo a La Costeña, debido a que los empleados de la línea de producción desconocen la técnica correcta del lavado de manos; usan cubre bocas pero no todos lo hacen correctamente, ya que sólo lo colocan sobre la boca y no también en la nariz y no usan de manera correcta la cofia, pues no cubren hasta las orejas.

“Encontramos otras fallas menores como que algunas coladeras no tienen rejilla, lo que podría permitir la entrada de fauna nociva, que cabe aclarar que no se encontró; sin embargo es observable; además que no todos los vehículos utilizados para el traslado foráneo de la empresa cuentan con aviso de funcionamiento”, abundó.

Miguel Ángel Ordóñez explicó que la empresa tendrá garantía de audiencia para que puedan responder, presentar pruebas y acreditar que han corregido las irregularidades y señaló que aunque no son de gravedad podrían ameritar alguna sanción.

Detalló que si las pruebas de laboratorio determinan que el producto se encuentra contaminado, deberá ser destruido en su totalidad y hacerse de una sanción económica que va desde los 841 mil al millón 121 mil pesos. En caso de que no sea así, el producto se liberará con la obligación de avisar a la Coprisem para que el destino del producto se conozca con precisión y que se pueda realizar una vigilancia posterior.
