El Gobierno de Naucalpan propuso a la Comisión de Información de la Conferencia Nacional de Seguridad Pública Municipal, monitorear a las personas que tras haber cumplido una sentencia por algún crimen ya se encuentran en libertad, a fin de que los ayuntamientos cuenten con esta información y puedan realizar acciones de prevención del delito en sus localidades.
Durante la Cuarta Reunión de esta Comisión, realizada en Naucalpan, se planteó que este tema se lleve a los Congresos Locales y Federal, para ser legislado y se pueda contar con un sistema de inteligencia, como ya se tiene en otras partes del mundo, con el fin de saber dónde se encuentran los delincuentes primerizos, los reincidentes y los habituales, que ya compurgaron una condena.
En la reunión participaron representantes de Toluca, Huixquilucan, Atizapán y Cuautitlán Izcalli del Estado de México; Puebla, Puebla; Gómez Palacio y Durango, Durango; Uriangato, Guanajuato; Autlán y Guadalajara, Jalisco; Querétaro, Querétaro; Tulum, Quintana Roo; Morelia, Michoacán y Chihuahua, Chihuahua, ante quienes se expuso la necesidad de lograr una mayor disposición de los Ministerios Públicos, para que los presuntos delincuentes remitidos, sean procesados.
El Gobierno de Naucalpan se ha modernizado para hacer más eficientes sus acciones en materia de seguridad pública, con la adquisición de patrullas con cámaras de video y el helicóptero “Águila 1”, cuyo propósito es coordinarse con los elementos de tierra y apoyarlos en los operativos, así como la atención de emergencias, para complementar el monitoreo de calles y avenidas que realizan las mil cámaras conectadas al Centro de Control, Comando, Comunicaciones y Cómputo (C4).
