Tras afirmar en Chimalhuacán que “con los anhelos de México no se juega”, César Camacho aseguró que como Senador de la República “vamos a tocar las puertas que se requieran, nos la vamos a rifar para que haya más recursos, a fin de que el Estado de México y sus municipios consoliden su desarrollo”.

En un multitudinario evento de campaña, que tuvo lugar en la colonia La Copalera, una de las zonas con mayor rezago en esta localidad, el abanderado tricolor aseveró que “sólo afrontando los problemas y trabajando en equipo es cómo los vamos a poder solucionar”.

Arropado por los aplausos de la concurrencia, el ex gobernador mexiquense sostuvo que el país no está en estos momentos para “proyectos superficiales o por encimita, porque prometer no empobrece, cumplir es lo que aniquila”.

Reiteró que la propuesta de cancelar el nuevo aeropuerto “es una locura” porque una vez en operación serán miles los mexiquenses beneficiados con fuentes de trabajo y derrama económica por esta importante obra, particularmente en la zona oriente de la entidad.

Luego de recalcar que “aquí los hechos van por delante”, Camacho pidió el voto en favor de los candidatos del Revolucionario Institucional, “porque tenemos sensibilidad social, pero sobre todo sentido común, porque en política somos gente probada, no chambones”.

Puntualizó que por la gente de Chimalhuacán “tengo respeto y admiración por sus ambiciones positivas y porque es evidente cuánto han avanzado por su anhelo de vivir dignamente”.

En su oportunidad, Jesús Tolentino Román Bojórquez, candidato del PRI a la alcaldía de este lugar, significó que “con César Camacho vamos a la segura, porque es un hombre de Estado, preparado y conocedor, con quien, estoy seguro, volveremos a tener el apoyo fraterno y decidido, el de un verdadero amigo de Chimalhuacán”.

Cabe destacar que, en el evento, el candidato al senado estuvo acompañado de los candidatos a diputados federal por los distritos XXV y XXXIX, María Paz Mendoza Sánchez y Fernando González Mejía, respectivamente, así como local por el distrito III, Telésforo García Carreón.
