• Ganan la mexiquense y Sebastián Olvera plata en relevo mixto.

Tepotzotlán, Estado de México,  Durante la Olimpiada Nacional 2018, el Estado de México sumó, en Pentatlón Moderno, dos medallas de plata y una de bronce que obtuvo Natalia Ochoa en la categoría Juvenil Menor, así como la presea de plata que consiguió en mancuerna con Sebastián Olvera, en el relevo mixto.

El primer lugar de Pentatlón femenil fue para la competidora de Nuevo León, Mónica Gutiérrez, que luego de realizar todas las pruebas hizo un acumulado de 1,162 puntos, para dejar en segundo puesto a la mexiquense Natalia Ochoa con 1,112, en tanto que el tercer puesto fue para Silvia Ventura, de Jalisco, con 1,090.

En el Tetratlón, donde las disciplinas que se consideran son esgrima, natación y tiro-carrera, el primer lugar también se lo llevó Mónica Gutiérrez, con 869 unidades, seguida de Ochoa, con 813; en tanto que el tercer puesto fue para Paola Esquivel, con 801.

Para el Triatlón, donde se califica natación y tiro-carrera, una vez más la regia Mónica Gutiérrez se hizo del metal dorado, con 611, mientras que la jalisciense Esquivel se llevó la plata, con 583; en tanto que la mexiquense Ochoa se quedó con el bronce, al sumar 579.

En el relevo mixto, Natalia Ochoa, junto con Sebastián Olvera, se adjudicó la medalla de plata, al sumar 1,276 puntos, mientras que la pareja de Nuevo León registró 1,279, para llevarse el primer lugar y el Instituto Politécnico Nacional obtuvo el tercer puesto con 1254.

En lo que respecta al relevo juvenil menor varonil, el primer lugar fue para el estado de Jalisco, que gracias a la participación de Leonardo Santillán y Esaú Florido se hizo de 1,387 unidades, en segundo lugar se quedó Aguascalientes, con 1,314, y en tercero Ciudad de México con 1,304.
