Este municipio se coloca a la vanguardia al ser el único en el Estado de México que imparte en las preparatorias el diplomado “Brigadistas en protección civil”.
Al tomar protesta al Consejo Municipal de Protección Civil, la alcaldesa Denisse Ugalde Alegría enfatizó que su administración le apuesta a la capacitación y prevención, con la finalidad de que tanto los cuerpos de emergencia como la sociedad civil atiendan de manera eficaz cualquier contingencia o siniestro que se presente en la localidad.
En esta primera sesión del Consejo, evento en el que se presentó el Programa Municipal de Protección Civil y el Plan de Emergencias, Ugalde Alegría destacó que con el diplomado “Brigadistas en protección civil”, el cual se imparte en las preparatorias del municipio, Tlalnepantla se pone a la vanguardia al ser el único que ofrece esta capacitación en toda la entidad mexiquense.
Detalló que con dicho curso se busca la preparación de estudiantes y maestros para que sepan actuar de manera efectiva, sumando esfuerzos con los cuerpos de emergencia municipales.
“Hoy la protección civil se ha convertido en un valioso y necesario mecanismo para poner a salvo a miles de personas, de ahí que la clave para enfrentar este reto sea la prevención de riesgos “, afirmó la presidenta municipal.
Informó que de manera conjunta, la Conagua, CAEM, OPDM, así como las direcciones de Obras Públicas, Servicios Urbanos y Protección Civil trabajan en la ejecución de acciones preventivas en zonas susceptibles de inundación, en el monitoreo constante de los vasos reguladores, ríos y cauces naturales, con el objetivo de mitigar y disminuir los efectos por algún fenómeno hidrometeorológico.
Denisse Ugalde anunció que se trabaja en la elaboración del Atlas de Riesgos Naturales por lo que exhortó a los integrantes del Consejo para convocar, concertar, inducir e integrar las acciones del Sistema Municipal de Protección Civil, enfocadas a formular políticas y programas de prevención en esta materia.
En este sentido, el coordinador general de Protección Civil, Joel Álvarez García, reiteró el compromiso de los elementos que integran esta corporación para continuar capacitándose de manera constante, garantizando mejor atención a los tlalnepantlenses que se vean inmersos en alguna emergencia.
Puntualizó que se convocará a los diversos sectores de la población para que sumen esfuerzos con los cuerpos de emergencia y así Tlalnepantla esté preparado para enfrentar contingencias meteorológicas y aquellas derivadas de factores topográficos, concluyó el funcionario.
