Es Edoméx pilar fundamental en la consolidación de la base de datos del registro civil

• Destacan empeño y constancia de los trabajadores del Registro Civil en el marco de la conmemoración de su 157 aniversario. 

El Estado de México ha sido un pilar fundamental en la consolidación de la base de datos del Registro Civil a nivel país, prueba de ello es la captura de más de 22 millones de actas, así como la automatización e interconexión con otras entidades del país, destacó Adrián Escamilla Palafox, Director General del Registro Nacional de Población e Identificación Personal (Renapo).

Expresó que la colaboración de la entidad con el Gobierno federal ha permitido la consolidación de los formatos únicos de adopción, reconocimiento y divorcio en línea, lo que será una realidad durante las próximas semanas, así como el formato de acta de nacimiento en formato Braille como un mecanismo de inclusión.

“Fue uno de los primeros estados en apoyar el proyecto de interconexión estatal, de aprobar los formatos únicos que hoy permiten tener acta en línea y de colaborar de manera decidida y enfática en el Consejo Nacional de Funcionarios del Registro Civil que se ha consolidado como un órgano de consulta de apoyo que a la postre ha permitido tener de ciertas políticas que se habrán de concretar”, enfatizó.

Durante la ceremonia del 157 aniversario del Registro Civil, destacó el trabajo de los integrantes de la dependencia, la cual, dijo, ha conformado la base de datos más grande a nivel nacional, la cual es comparable con la de cinco naciones del continente americano.

“Esta base de datos es equiparable a las bases de datos de todo el país de Chile, Panamá, de Costa Rica, Honduras y El Salvador juntos. Una base de datos que de suyo representa una magnitud monstruosa para poder operar y para poder dar un servicio a la sociedad”, señaló.

Por su parte, el Subsecretario de Justicia de la Secretaría de Justicia y Derechos Humanos, Iván Barrera, expresó que para brindar servicios de orientación y asistencia jurídica a toda la población se fomenta el desarrollo tecnológico.

“Los frutos de esta apuesta tecnológica los reciben directamente los ciudadanos que pueden ahorrar tiempo y recursos gracias a estos servicios”, expuso.

En tanto, el Director general del Registro Civil, Mauricio Noguez Ortiz, agradeció el trabajo diario del personal de las 315 oficialías, al tiempo que los exhortó a redoblar esfuerzos para mejorar en beneficio de la población.

Dicha instancia ha realizado la digitalización del 90 por ciento de la base de datos, así como la verificación y validación de registros de matrimonios, divorcios, nacimientos y defunciones, entre otros.
