Como parte del mejoramiento de la imagen urbana municipal, la alcaldesa Denisse Ugalde Alegría puso en marcha los trabajos de repavimentación con concreto hidráulico en las calles: Hidalgo en San Lucas Patoni; Objetivo en Prensa Nacional; Plutarco Elías Calles en San Miguel Chalma; Cuauhtémoc en Tenayo Centro y la Alpino Huicholes en la Lázaro Cárdenas.
Acompañada por vecinos y  autoridades auxiliares, la presidenta municipal aseguró que desde el primer minuto del primero de enero su administración se ha dado a la tarea de atender  peticiones y compromisos adquiridos.
Expresó que con la repavimentación de arterias no sólo se mejora la apariencia urbana sino que se contribuye a mejorar su calidad de vida de todos los habitantes y “si vivimos en un entorno armónico tendremos un ambiente de seguridad y una ciudad confortable en  todos los sentidos”.
Al reunirse con vecinos de la Lázaro Cárdenas, Ugalde Alegría informó que se han rehabilitado tres módulos de policía y se continuará con los operativos permanentes de vigilancia en coordinación la policía del estatal, el Ejército y la Marina para atender las demandas en materia de seguridad pública.
De igual manera, anunció que con recursos del gobierno del Estado, próximamente se realizarán trabajos en el Deportivo Caracoles.
El director de Obras Públicas, Sergio Arturo Cámara Franco informó que con una inversión de  10 millones 465 mil pesos estas obras beneficiarán a alrededor de un millón 26 mil personas que diariamente utilizan estas calles.
Cabe mencionar que la presidenta del Copaci de Tenayo Centro, Oralia Miranda Ponce, agradeció que la presidenta municipal no se olvide de  su comunidad “comenzábamos a perder la fe en las autoridades, ahora estamos convencidos de que no nos equivocamos al votar por Denisse Ugalde Alegría”.
