Toluca, Estado de México.- En representación del Gobernador Alfredo Del Mazo Maza, el Secretario de Educación, Alejandro Fernández Campillo, entregó un estímulo económico a Jonathan Sánchez, para su estancia en Rusia del 20 de agosto al 21 de septiembre, donde aprenderá el idioma y cursará materias relacionadas con temas aeroespaciales como aerodinámica, mecánica y tecnología de micro satélites.

“El apoyo me va a permitir estudiar un mes en la Universidad Estatal de Moscú, esto sería un impulso para seguir con mi meta, que es llegar a ser astronauta,” expresó Jonathan Sánchez Pérez, originario de Tultepec, al recibir un apoyo económico del Gobierno del Estado de México para su estancia en la Universidad Estatal de Moscú.

El Secretario Alejandro Fernández Campillo refirió que el Gobernador es el principal impulsor del talento y esfuerzo de los jóvenes del Estado de México y pidió a Jonathan representar con orgullo a la entidad y al país.

Para el futuro astronauta, el menor de seis hermanos, la familia es pilar fundamental y un vínculo muy importante para cumplir cualquier meta; además se dijo orgulloso de representar a los estudiantes de escuelas públicas “no importa si estudias debajo de un árbol, o si tienes la mejor infraestructura, si tú quieres salir adelante agarra un libro, ahora tenemos tecnología, mucho más fácil para salir adelante”, expresó.

“Desde que estaba pequeño mi sueño era llegar a la NASA; para mí es muy muy grato demostrar que México es grande”, relató Jonathan quien demuestra, con hechos, que en el país existe capacidad para realizar proyectos, existe calidad humana y talento.

Para el joven, quien ya piensa en estudiar una Maestría en Ingeniería Espacial, conocer a José Hernández Moreno, ingeniero astronauta mexicano de la NASA, fue un sueño cumplido, y define a éste como su ejemplo de vida, quien lo inspiró a nunca rendirse y perseverar por sus sueños.

A sus 20 años Jonathan estudia sexto semestre de Ingeniería en Aeronáutica y representará a México por segunda ocasión en el Air Space International Program, concurso organizado por la NASA que se realizará del 29 de octubre al 5 de noviembre, en Houston, Texas.
