  • ·      El antropólogo e historiador Mauricio Gutiérrez de los Ángeles es el nuevo Cronista Municipal.

 Huixquiluca, Estado de México.–El presidente municipal de Huixquilucan, Enrique Vargas del Villar, tomó protesta a Mauricio Gutiérrez de los Ángeles como Cronista Municipal para el periodo 2016-2018. Es antropólogo e historiador y vecino de la comunidad de Magdalena Chichicaspa.

Durante la décima sesión ordinaria de Cabildo, los integrantes del cuerpo edilicio de Huixquilucan escucharon detalladamente la exposición de motivos y plan de trabajo de  Mauricio Gutiérrez de los Ángeles, María Guadalupe Ramos Castro y Almaquio Costiñica Valencia, todos aspirantes a ser el Cronista Municipal.

Tras deliberar y efectuar la votación, los ediles designaron a Gutiérrez de los Ángeles, quien al tomar protesta, agradeció la confianza y se comprometió a trabajar arduamente para rescatar la identidad del municipio.  

Durante su intervención, detalló que como Cronista Municipal se enfocará en rescatar el acervo histórico, fotográfico  y cultural de la localidad, así como fomentar la identidad de los huixquiluquenses.

“Parte de la investigación que he realizado es localizar un códice de Magdalena Chichicaspa que data del año 1700 aproximadamente y hoy en día se encuentra en la biblioteca del congreso de Washington, por lo que sería de gran valía para la historia de Huixquilucan poder rescatar o hacer un estudio de este documento”, detalló.

“Ser cronista municipal es una forma de agradecer a Huixquilucan todo lo que me ha brindado, ya que gracias a su riqueza cultural es que decidí cursar la carrera en antropología”, puntualizó.
