Toluca, México,  El gobernador Eruviel Ávila Villegas expidió el acuerdo mediante el cual se extiende hasta el 2 de mayo el plazo para realizar el pago y acceder al subsidio de 100 por ciento sobre tenencia o uso de vehículos, con la finalidad de ampliar la oportunidad de obtener el subsidio de dicha contribución y apoyar la economía de los mexiquenses.

Este beneficio del subsidio es para personas físicas o morales con fines no lucrativos, propietarias de vehículos con un valor factura hasta de 350 mil pesos sin IVA.

​Para acceder a éste, es requisito ser residente del Estado de México, no deber tenencias de años anteriores y cubrir los derechos de refrendo vehicular.

También se debe estar al corriente en las obligaciones fiscales, en el pago de créditos fiscales, así como en materia de verificación vehicular, además de no tener adeudos por concepto de multas de carácter estatal y municipal por infracciones a las disposiciones de tránsito.

Si el contribuyente tiene adeudos por años anteriores, se tiene la posibilidad de regularizarse para ser beneficiado con el subsidio.

​Los contribuyentes que accedan al subsidio deberán obtener el formato universal de pago, ingresando en la página electrónica del Gobierno del Estado de México: www.edomex.gob.mx y proceder al pago dentro de la fecha límite que señala el referido formato. El pago puede efectuarse en más de 3 mil puntos, como instituciones bancarias y tiendas de autoservicio.

​La Secretaría de Finanzas detalló que en caso de que no se pueda imprimir el formato universal de pago, debido a alguna inconsistencia en el registro del vehículo, el contribuyente puede acudir al Centro de Servicios Fiscales más cercano para realizar las correcciones necesarias en el padrón vehicular, con original y copia de la factura de la primera enajenación, tarjeta de circulación, comprobante de domicilio e identificación oficial vigente.

Al 18 de marzo de 2016, 1 millón 172 mil 195 contribuyentes han realizado el pago por concepto de Tenencia, lo que representa un importe de 2 mil 767.4 millones de pesos, de los cuales 575.5 millones corresponden a flujo, y 2 mil 191.9 millones a subsidio. Lo anterior significa un avance del 53 por ciento respecto al importe establecido en la Ley de Ingresos del Estado de México 2016, que es de 5 mil 211 millones 143 mil pesos.​

En comparación con el mismo periodo del ejercicio fiscal 2015, se observa un incremento de 8.9 por ciento respecto al importe recaudado de Tenencia vehicular. Por concepto de Refrendo, se registran ingresos por 766.5 millones de pesos, lo que representa un crecimiento en el importe recaudado de 20.7 por ciento, respecto al mismo periodo en el ejercicio fiscal 2015.
